100 things about me

This has been a work in progress for a while, it takes ages to come up with 100 facts about yourself! I found this idea…er… somewhere when I was blog surfing one day and decided it was a good thing to do when I have nothing interesting to talk about. Okay so that happens a lot but anyway. So here ya go!

1. I am 35 years old
2. I met the boy when I was 30
3. I am a natural blonde (just with too many greys for my liking)
4. My eyes are green
5. If I was 30kgs lighter, I’m sure I could be a supermodel 🙂
6. I have never owned a cat until living with the boy
7. I really prefer dogs
8. My family is Polish
9. I have been to Poland
10. I have an addiction to shoes
11. It’s becoming a problem – where do I store 100 pairs of shoes?
12. I like my job
13. I am sometimes bored at my job because I don’t have to work very hard
14. Everyone else thinks I am working VERY hard
15. I’m smarter than most people give me credit for
16. I can sing
17. Not Barbra Streisand sing, but I can carry a tune
18. I’m also addicted to buying coffee cups
19. That’s also becoming a problem – there are only two of us in this house and we probably have 60 coffee cups
20. I had a bad 80’s perm
21. I thought it looked cool
22. I once owned a ra-ra skirt
23. I love chocolate, but only milk chocolate. Dark chocolate is too rich and white chocolate is not real chocolate
24. Raspberries are my favourite fruit
25. I drink a lot of milk
26. Which is probably why I’ve never broken a bone
27. And I don’t have any fillings in my teeth
28. I have RSI in my right elbow, caused by too much time on the computer, and years of tennis playing
29. I was once a very good tennis player
30. I don’t do any sport now, and it shows
31. I can touch type at 50 words a minute
32. I probably read 60 blogs a day
33. I love basketball and cannot play it to save my life
34. I used to play netball too
35. I can sit through all five days of a cricket test match on TV, no problems
36. I don’t like the cold
37. I was raised Catholic
38. I am not in the least bit interested in religion now
39. I’m not anti-religion, I just don’t care
40. My family drive me crazy
41. I’m allergic to peanuts – they cause me migraines
42. I hate peas
43. I also don’t like brussel sprouts (but who does?)
44. I won’t eat beans either, whatever colour or shape they are
45. I have a pedicure every three weeks
46. I never look after my fingernails, and they grow like crazy
47. I am allergic to nearly all makeup, and never wear it unless I absolutely have to
48. My legs are very long
49. I am 173cm tall
50. I am much taller than my mother, and my sister
51. I really object to our cats sleeping on the bed
52. I love George Michael’s music
53. I love taking photos and I have the camera equipment to do it well
54. I have seen real live polar bears in the wild, and it was the most amazing thing ever
55. I have been on a cruise
56. I got very drunk and had a lot of sex on that cruise
57. I don’t think my friends understand me very well sometimes
58. The boy spoils me rotten
59. I don’t do any housework – we have a cleaning lady
60. I do the washing and the cooking though
61. I wish I had a dog
62. I have seen Kylie Minogue in concert four times
63. The best live show I have seen was Michael Buble (don’t knock it until you’ve seen him live)
64. My in-laws are nice people
65. I have had two car accidents in my life. One was my fault, one wasn’t

68. I have a lot of freckles and stay out of the sun as much as possible

80. I had a stroke when I was 22, after a blood clot lodged in my brain

82. I have recovered completely, except for a slight loss of strength in my right arm. I’m the only one who can tell

85. I fell down the stairs at work once and tore the ligaments in my left ankle
