I had my first ever attempt at making lemon curd tart yesterday. I have to say, it turned out pretty well. The recipe I have didn’t have the meringue on top but I added that for fun, and it really works.  The only disappointing thing is it didn’t require nearly as many lemons as I was hoping for; I have loads left over and no idea what to do with them.

    I don’t think it gets much better than a lemon pie made with lemons from your own tree!!! Looks delish!

    I love pie. My mother in law made THE best ever lemon pie I’ve ever eaten… Second only to her raspberry and lemon figure eight pastries. Omg… So good!

    Your pie looks great! What about making Lemon chicken risotto – I use up a few doing that.

    I looove lemon pie! Oh, pls, I put some weight on since I arrived in the UK, and now I see this gorgeous pie (congratulations for it!) and I’m just dreaming of it for tomorrow… ah, it’s also OK to eat well for a change, right? I was so fed up of starving just to fit the standards!
    Great pie, I am sure!
