This windmill can be found at Balgownie Estate in the Yarra Valley. I was there recently for work and I really liked the colours in this photo.
The other day when I was taking photos in the park in the fog, I also managed to catch this picture.
As I was walking to the office this morning, it was very foggy. We have a big park across the road from work, so I ducked in to get the work camera and came back and shot this (among others). It’s not a digital SLR like my camera but I think it did a good job.
This week for work I went to Hamilton. It’s in south west Victoria. It was cold but we saw some nice spots. This is a river that has been allowed to recover by itself and has restored itself to a very pristine environment. This is a shot I took with my lovely wide angle lens. The sky was behaving and giving me some nice colour.
And here is a big mama cow who was looking after her little baby, and kept giving me the evil eye whenever I looked in her direction. After a while she figured I wasn’t going to attack the calf so she wandered over to the water bucket, but she stopped every few metres and looked at me, then looked at her calf. It was quite sweet!
I don’t really like to travel for work because it’s actually a lot of work and not that much fun. But I guess any day out of the office is a good day. The place we stayed was… nice, but imagine feature brick walls and peach curtains and then you’ll have a good idea of what it was like. The food was good though. Nothing fancy but it was simple and good.
I don’t know the name of this glacier but we landed on it on our way back to Queenstown from Milford Sound.
During our recent trip to New Zealand, we visited Milford Sound for an overnight cruise. Stunning.
Sometimes, you get lucky with the colour. It’s probably enhanced by the smoke in the atmosphere from all the fires.
This is the view of the Grampians from our balcony. This is four photos stitched together into this panorama.
Took this of a rusty wall at the in-laws over Christmas. We all need a break from the flowers sometimes!
Just one of MANY scenery shots I have of the Canadian Rockies.
